Happy New Year from us at Evolve Toys!
We are lucky to have our very own in-house toy testers. Over the Holiday break from school they were very busy playing and testing toys that they chose. As usual, if a toy doesn’t make the Evolve cut – it doesn’t get re-ordered.
Here six-year-old Bowie shares her January favourites from our hand-curated collection of educational toys.
Coggy is a brainteaser that will have your little one's mental gears spinning! Bend, click, fold and shape-shift this connected collection of sixteen colorful gears into the perfect positions to match each image on each challenge card. The first card might seem easy, but keep working through medium, hard and extra hard levels of difficulty. This toy is great for: motor skills, problem solving, concentration, visual thinking, hand eye coordination.
“Coggy is fun. I thought that it was going to be easy, but it’s not always. I followed the cards and copied some of the pictures. Sometimes, I liked making my own design. I made one that looked like a shopping cart, the one that you use at the grocery store.”

“I love Reptangles because there’s so many ways to build and the turtles are colourful. There’s all the colours of the rainbow. It comes with a book and you can copy the pictures in the book or make your own. I did it with my whole family and we had so much fun. We even made a pair of glasses. That was really funny.”
